Tra il sacro e l'individuale: L'Immaginario estetico-giuridico

The paper compares Legendre's dogmatic anthropology and Castoriadis's theory of the imaginary institution of society aiming at the identification of the differences concerning the notion of Symbolic. Reference to Pico della Mirandola's "God Address to Man" in his Discourse of the Dignity of Man allows the paper to specify the common elements between the theoretical perspectives mentioned above with regard to the concept of the Imaginary. Starting from a legal-aesthetic approach the analysis is completed by the formulation of a research hypothesis concerning the concept of Imaginary defined as 'World 0', referring to Popper's 'three world' theory.
