Abstract

φπ⁺π^- production in p̄p annihilation at rest in liquid and gaseous hydrogen at low pressure (5 mbar) is studied in the OBELIX experiment at LEAR (CERN). It is found that this reaction is dominated by the annihilation from the p̄p spin-triplet initial states.
