Abstract
Simona Forti, Michela Garda, and Federico Vercellone critically discuss Enrica Lisciani-Petrini's Vita quotidiana. Dall'esperienza artistica al pensiero in atto. In particular, Forti focuses on the ontological commitments underlying Lisciani-Petrini's reflection on ordinary time and timing in the light of Heidegger's timely reflections on the topic of temporality and authenticity. Garda questions the relationship and division of work between philosophy and the arts (with an emphasis on music) in the investigation of ordinary life, showing the many different paths such collaboration can take. Vercellone comments on Lisciani-Petrini's rehabilitation of ordinary life, touching upon the themes of anonymity, estrangement, and the heroic and transformative character of the everyday.
