Abstract

We present the results of current epidemiological research on the association between ELF magnetic fields and neoplasm. ELF magnetic fields were considered as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B)' by IARC. The evidence was limited to childhood acute leukemia and to chronic leukemia (associated to occupational exposure) in adults.
