Abstract
Lope de Vega‘s strategies of self-promotion deeply affect Partes de comedias published under the poet’ supervision. The range of addressees is varied and the link between play and dedication is not always the same; in many cases it isn’t evident eather. The aim of this paper is to identify the different connections between text and paratext. It’s a matter of fact that Lope resorts to all the possible strategies and possibilities inherent to Baroque esthetic to emphasize his skills as a brilliant and learned writer.
