Abstract

The analysis of new data on π^± ⁴He interaction at T_π =106 MeV provided information on the in-medium modifications of the Δ resonance and revealed signatures of the excitation of a nuclear collective state. Evidences for a reaction channel with thermal emission of photons are also presented.
