Abstract

We show how the conformal blocks of minimal models of the Virasoro algebra can be computed on an arbitrary genus Riemann surface, as an application of the operator formalism for free field theory. In particular we present, with all normalizations manifest, the "BRST" property of the 3-point vertex which allows us to obtain explicit expressions for the blocks. The results are nicely arranged into geometric objects on the Riemann surface, as we demonstrate in several examples.
