Abstract
The polarization of the nucleons emitted by photodisintegration of odd complex nuclei is calculated by the use of a model with independent particles. General formulae are deduced, which hold for photons and polarized nuclei; from the consideration of these formulae it results that the correlation between spin and angular momentum in the bound state contributes effectively to the nucleon's polarization. In the last section the particularcase of613C is considered; the results obtained by the use of various phase-shift systems show that the polarization depends strongly on them.
