The project TEEN (www.teen.polimi.it ) deals with the phenomenon of young immigrants, the so-called “teen-immigrants”, and aims at promoting basic mathematical literacy as another fundamental right that may significantly increase the level of autonomy of teen-immigrants resorting to activities that have a mathematics root.",
