Abstract

Sulfur-containing polymers and macrocycles have been synthesized by polycondensation of 1,3-dimercaptobenzene with N,N prime -bis(aminomethyl)dicarboxyamides. Non-macromolecular model compounds have also been synthesized. Some properties of the polymers and macrocycles, including thermal stability, have been studied.
