Abstract
The paper discusses the colometry of Euripides, Supplices 365-80, as presented in manuscript tradition (Laurentianus pl. XXXII 2 and Palatinus gr. 287), paying specific attention to the revision due to Demetrius Triclinius and revisor p. The paper aims to offer the reconstruction of the passage, as implied by the manuscript colometry, focusing on metrical interpretation. This analysis shows a case of ‘irregular responsion’ δ = prosδ attested in the transmitted text, corrected and eliminated by modern editors in order to achieve a regular responsion.
