Abstract
The essay focuses on the notion of "fake news" by proposing a theoretical analysis of this concept. Subsequently, the paper deals with the spreadof fake news on social media and, in doing so, it underlines the effectiveness of a cultural-based approach in order to react to the challenges related to the "Age of disinformation"
