Abstract

Two narrow peaks at about 1500 and 1800 MeV/c2are seen in the distributions of invariant mass of the assumed six-pion systems in the final states of pNe and pHe reactions at 607 MeV/c. In pHe-reactions the peaks are seenonly in the forward direction, while in pNe-reactions they are also seen in thebackward direction with momenta near the momentum of the incidentantiproton. The peaks could possibly be due to glueballs.
