Abstract
[Machine translation] A testimony of The Fake Arcadia of Three Ingeniuses is a release preserved only in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (S3), which transmits a text that strays in many ways from the rest of the tradition. The author of the extravagant release was able to do his job of rewriting The Fake Arcadia for some courtly celebration, with S3, therefore, being the product of the script of a specific particular performance. The fact that it could be Coello cannot be excluded, quite the contrary for some reasons linked to his comedic and academic pen, the same ones that could suggest his intervention in the composition of the collaborative comedy, specifically that of the intermediate act. S3 keeps the plot of the original comedy unchanged, even though it intervenes throughout the text to modify dialogic exchanges, shorten or lengthen parliaments, intensify the courtly aspects of the text and, above all, to elaborate on the comic-burlesque motif of mondongas. At the same time, the author of the comedy transmitted by the release omits those elements that refer to the practice of writing in conjunction to obliquely proclaim himself the author of a different work, announced by the modified title.
