Abstract
[Machine translation] The aim of the article is to investigate the German da (r) pronominal adverbs, which assume an attributive function or are used as subsequent attributes of nouns, pronouns, adjectives or adverbs. Based on a case study of translations from German into Italian produced by university students from middle school (B1.2) to high school (C1), it is shown that italophonic DAF learners have difficulties particularly when reproducing attributive da (r) pronominal adverbs. Through comparative linguistic analysis and the examination of a corpus of original German documents and Italian translations, attributive pronominal adverbs in authentic German texts are examined more closely and their possible equivalents in Italian are identified. The results of the analysis can contribute to the development of didactic materials for the grammatical description and teaching of da (r) pronominal adverbs with an attribute function in DAF lessons.
