Abstract
Advanced molecular profiling techniques may be useful in chronic respiratory disorders to understand metabolomic alterations and tailor specific treatments. Exhaled breath condensate (EBC) provides a non-invasive way to access the lung environment, which can be profiled using omics techniques such as mass spectrometry and NMR.
