N2 - Severe liver dysfunction in late pregnancy is an unusual but dramatic event because it can progress very rapidly to fulminating disease and also because two lives, that of the mother and foetus, are involved. We report a descriptive study of a pregnant woman presenting with severe liver dysfunction.
