A conjecture in Pseudo-Xenophon, Constitution of the Athenians 2.17

The paper discusses previ- ous emendations, arguing that they are unsatisfactory, and conjectures that the original text was ἢν δὲ μὴ ἐμμένωσι ταῖς συνθήκαις, ἢ ὑφ’ ὅρκου ἀδικῶσι “in case they do not respect the agreements, or vio- late justice when under oath”.
