Spaces and Paths in Late Antiquity: a digital connection for Literature, Archaeology, Law, and Geography

SpaceLat proposes the creation of a digital space in which access to the late antiquity takes place through interactive cartography. On the interactive maps will be placed i) the authors, ii) the archaeological testimonies, iii) the place where the constitutions were issued, iv) imperial buildings and the seat or place of residence of the recipients of these constitutions, in order to reconstruct the space of the late antiquity also visually. The project also envisages the construction of a GIS (Geographic Information System) for pilgrimage sites and a study dedicated to the itineraries with the representation on the map of the corpus of the Itineraria Hierosolymitana.
