Abstract
[Machine translation] Quentin Tarantino's films are characterized by a precise style that includes a series of recurring narrative and linguistic elements that are well recognizable by the public. One of these is undoubtedly the presence of countless quotes from other films and directors. This essay aims to analyze specifically the explicit quotes present in his dialogues and the strategies used in Italian translation for dubbing, taking as an object of analysis the films scripted by the author in his first 15 years of career (1992-2007).
