The current upsurge of neofascist movements, which exploit the anger of those defeated by globalization and urban discomfort, shows how the fascist mentality, in different forms, has remained active even in the democratic system. Precisely because of this fact, and in view of the profound crisis that representative democracy is going through, I then intend to argue how there is a need, today more than ever, to recognize the value of the Resistance and its extraordinary relevance.
