Abstract

The essay, in a historical period of particular scarcity of water resources, aims at examining the legal issues underlying the water reuse, in the light, in particular, of the EU Regulation 2020/741. The authors attempt, therefore, to examine what could be the consequences of this new supranational regulatory source in the Italian legal system, in relation also to the opportunities offered by the PNRR, both from the point of view of constitutional law, as regards the relationship between regulatory sources and in the light of the principle of environmental sustainability, and from the point of view of administrative law, with reference to the public management of water resources.
