Simone Weil. Oppressione e povertà

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

[Machine translation] In Simone Weil’s thought there is a poverty induced by social relationships in a collectivity which is apparently strong compared to single individuals and there is a misery as a condition of the human being. By accepting this truth in one’s being, it becomes possible to dismantle the apparent richness of the subject and of the community, devoted to strenght and not to goodness. Only in this way, the human being, imitating God, can be helpful to the poor.
