Abstract

The essay aims to reflect on the constitutional reform on the reduction of parliamentarians, which Italian citizens should have voted by referendum on March 29, 2020. The national and world emergency of the Coronavirus forced a postponement of the referendum sine die, but the role (not central) of the Parliament in this emergency is closely intertwined with the motives of that reform, and leads to a joint reflection.
