Massimino, Medicinal Law, Bari, 2024), frames and discusses some basic issues and current issues of Italian pharmaceutical law: the relationship between pharmaceutical law and health law (conceivable, respectively, as a sub-sectional and sectional system); the application of constitutional principles and the founding principles of the NHS to the pharmaceutical sector, in particular in terms of relations between public and private interests; integration with Euro-unitary law, also in the light of the ongoing reform of the general pharmaceutical legislation of the European Union, which goes in the direction of orienting the rules on AIC and profiles related to health protection objectives, with a view to promoting synergies between industrial, pharmaceutical and health policies at the EU and state levels.
