Abstract
[Machine translation] The contribution examines an early medieval cubic capital, coming from the area of the monastery of Breme, seat of the Novalican community, which moved there in the first half of the tenth century. The artifact, pertaining to a pergola or window support, seems to be ascribed to the late VIII-first half of the 9th century, and sheds new light on the settlement situation and perhaps also on the religious organization of this sector of Lomellina in the early Middle Ages.
