[Machine translation] Abstract What strategies for the future of Italian Cultural Districts? The paper retraces and summarizes the strategies on cultural districts in Italy, as emerged in the theory and practice of recent years. Cultural districts are currently places of continuous change, transformation and development, where new methods of comparison are created between the different cultural stakeholders who reinterpret their roles in shared decision-making processes. Different factors of change have led to the use of new tools to define and plan change in cultural policies, which first of all imply a different role of foundations of banking origin in the decision-making process. One of these tools is certainly the integrated management plan for the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage. The paper deals with the strategies on cultural districts in Italy, as it emerged on theory and practice in the recent years. Cultural Districts are places of continuous change and transformation. Different cultural stakeholders find new ways to define development process and new rules of decision making. The use of new tools for planning the changing of the cultural policies implies a different role of banking foundations in the decision-making process. The management plan is one of these tools for conservation and valorization of cultural heritage.
