Abstract

The production of η, η′, K-, φ, ω mesons in pp reactions at an energy of 2.85 GeV has been investigated using the DISTO spectrometer at SATURNE. The results include first measurements of the K- cross section and the φ/ω cross section ratio at an energy of less than 100 MeV above the absolute production threshold, as well as a measurement of the η′ cross section.
