Process for the living radical polymerization of olefinically unsutured monomers

Process for the living radical polymerization of olefinically unsaturated monomers which consists in (co)polymerizing an olefin with a catalytic system comprising: a thioester containing silicon atoms having general formula (I) <CHEM> wherein R' is a C3-C20 alkyl or C7-C20 alkyl aryl group, whereas the R" groups, the same or different, represent a phenyl group, a C1-C10 alkyl group, a C7-C20 alkyl aryl group, and optionally a free radical generator, soluble in the reaction medium, active at the (co)polymerization temperature.
