Abstract
[Machine translation] The essay gives an account of land research conducted in a small town in the Canavese countryside, home to a Slow Food Presidium since 2010, consisting of a small but dynamic group of farmers. The biodiversity cultivated in the community under investigation, Cortereggio, is accompanied by a rich ethnodiversity, witnessed by an articulated festive calendar cycle, marked by some significant anniversaries that, annually, renew and coagulate community sociality. The experience of 'garrison' therefore qualifies as a 'good community practice', a new way to enhance local knowledge and territorial attitudes, thus encouraging social and economic innovation that respects the peculiarities of the local context.
