Abstract
The article analyses the poetic corpus included in the Jardtn de la elocuencia by Fray Jose Antonio de Hebrera (Zaragoza, 1677), to demonstrate his debt to the Baroque theoreticians - Grácian, Caramuel, Matienzo, Jiménez Patón - And study the use of poetic quotes by the recopilador.
