Abstract

The analysis of new data on π± 4He interaction at Tπ =106 MeV provided information on the in-medium modifications of the Δ resonance and revealed signatures of the excitation of a nuclear collective state. Evidences for a reaction channel with thermal emission of photons are also presented.
