Abstract
The subject of legal education has traditionally been neglected in civil law countries. The first signs of a change are felt at the beginning of the new millennium and, mostly, in the last ten years, characterized by an intense flowering of studies, conferences, reports and innovative teaching methods. A bit in all the countries of continental Europe, the idea of the need for a profound renewal of the teaching model of law inherited from the legal positivism is gaining ground. The paper reconstructs this story, proposing a new model of legal education suited to the transformations of society, law, legal culture and the world of work.
