Abstract
[Machine translation] In this contribution, the Author, starting from a general reflection on the need to rediscover duties after a long and exclusive attention to rights, focuses on the duties of man to man — of present generations and of future generations — and to nature. The author elaborates, in particular, the category of “anthropocentrism of duties”, which, without denying man's anthropocentric view of nature, turns him from predatory to custodial. Nature, without becoming a subject of rights, still remains an object, but no longer of exploitation and depredation, but of attention, care and ecological custody on the part of man, who places himself in a position of responsibility towards the entire terrestrial community.
