Abstract

[Machine translation] This research addresses the topic of synesthesia through direct analysis,, not mediated by dictionaries, of Latin texts, adopting a joint approach, quantitative and qualitative, with a dual objective: on the one hand, to analyze, the number and especially the type of synesthesia present in some texts of the Latin poetic language, bringing to light similarities and differences with respect to what emerged from the analysis of other languages; on the other hand, that of defining how much the identity of the author and the content of the work can affect the number, and on the type of certified synesthesia.
