Abstract
[Machine translation] The thesis entitled Pathographies: voices, bodies, textures concerns some contemporary narrative works, autobiographical and focused on the experience of illness. The reference corpus, which includes texts in Italian, English, German and French, is analyzed through a comparative approach based on textual analysis. In particular, we focus on the types of reception to which pathography is subject and on the judgments formulated by critics, taking into consideration at the same time the main studies on the subject carried out in recent years. What are placed in the foreground are the aspects of the construction of the story and the modulations of the narrator, in order to investigate not only the emotional significance of the pathographies, but also and above all the specific value of literary objects that can be found in these texts.
