Abstract

[Machine translation] On the one hand, it delves into the complex problem of the underlying model for the first Castilian version of Orlando Innamorato de Boiardo (Garrido de Villena, 1555), based on the critical edition of Aguilà Ruzola (2013), and a probable source is proposed (two Venetian editions: 1539 or 1543); on the other hand, the possible influence of Berni's Refacement, limited but perhaps plausible, is assessed based on textual findings.
