Abstract

We describe the case of an eighteen year-old boy with very numerous nodules, varying in size from a pinhead to a lentil on the inferior left limb. These nodules, slightly raised on the skin, appeared gradually from the onset of puberty. The lesions are sensitive to touch and often spontaneously painful. Histological examination shows a proliferation of haphazardly arranged smooth muscle bundles, located in the reticular and medium dermis, and enables us to confirm the clinical diagnosis of multiple leiomyomas.
