Abstract
[Machine translation] The contribution focuses on the role of hospitality in the monastic environment in the 6th century sources: through a lexical and content analysis, which examines some of the main sources in this regard (the rules of Benedict and the Master, the De Institutione by Cassiodoro), the role of hospitality and hospitality as a present and characterizing figure of the monastic world since the beginning of the early Middle Ages is studied.
