Medical imaging with semiconductor detectors

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

I will give a review of the recent developments in medical imaging which make use of semiconductor solid-state detectors, aiming both at better image quality and reduced dose to the patient with respect to conventional methods. Angiographic and mammographic dual energy techniques will be discussed in some detail.
