MANNICH BASES IN POLYMER SYNTHESIS: 7. POLY(N-AMINO METHYLENAMIDES) BY POLYCONDENSATION REACTION OF BIS MANNICH BASES OF DICARBOXYAMIDES WITH BIS SECONDARY AMINES.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Poly(N-aminomethylenamides) have been synthesized by the polycondensation of bis secondary amines with bis (N-dimethylamino methyl)carboxyamides. Non-macromolecular model compounds of these polymers have also been synthesized. Some properties of the polymers, including hydrolytic stability, have been studied.
