Abstract
[Machine translation] With the so-called European Green Deal, the European Union has made a significant change in its decarbonization policies, with the aim of achieving a very substantial reduction in its carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and the elimination of its net emission balance by 2050. This turning point, whose concrete implementation now requires the approval of the multiple regulatory proposals presented by the European Commission, aims not only to make the need for environmental sustainability of economic development central and no longer derogable, but also to guarantee greater social sustainability of the same. The essay analyzes the legal problems that these policies pose.
