Abstract
The authors report a case of vertebral osteoid osteoma in a 10 year old boy. They emphasize the clinical course with intense radicular pain, the aspecific and late radiological features and especially the necessity of an early surgical treatment in order to alleviate pain and avoid scoliosis.
