Abstract

[Machine translation] This article seeks to shed light on the debts of Time of Rejoicing and, Carnestolendas de Madrid (1627) by Alonso de Castillo Solórzano with the Italian novelistic tradition and the literature of Baroque Iberia. In particular, the affinities between the frame of The Pleasant Nights by Giovan Francesco Straparola and the framework of the Solorzanian collection will be analyzed; in addition, the intertextual relationships that link the novel The Ayo of His Son with Court in the Village and Winter Nights (1622) by Francisco Rodrigues Lobo will be examined.
