Abstract
[Machine translation] The research proposes a dual interpretative thesis in relation to Claude Lefort's thought. First, it derives from Lefort's work the concept of democratic uncertainty, highlighting its traits of originality in reference to regulatory and realistic theories of democracy. The objective is to place this concept within a peculiar genealogy of the politician, centered on the symbolic function of power and on the instituting role of conflicts. Secondly, the work identifies in the reworking of the concept of ideology - to which Lefort dedicated several writings in the Seventies - a theoretical hub that is still fruitful for the analysis of some contemporary political phenomena. In this way, the research intends to restore a unified image of Lefortian political philosophy, while widely analyzing its moments of internal discontinuity; at the same time, it tries to thematize the key categories of Lefort's thought in relation to the current debate on the crisis and the future of democracy.
