Laurearsi in ritardo: conviene comunque?

Abstract

[Machine translation] Aina and Casalone discuss the link between late graduation and labor market outcomes in Italy, showing that extending the duration of university studies beyond the legal duration of degree courses involves persistent penalties, especially for women and for graduates in non-technical-scientific disciplines. From this, the authors point out the need to intervene in the organization of degree courses, as well as on the funding levels of the tertiary education system.
