Abstract
[Machine translation] This article illustrates how religious alterity is represented in the Ephemeris by Georgius Gemnicensis, a travel account recounting the pilgrimage to Egypt, Palestine, and Syria written by its author in 1507-1508. It focuses in particular on the analysis of the relationship between autoptic experience and the compilation of written sources in the pages devoted to the life of the Prophet and the Quranic precepts.
