Abstract

Long trains of low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation have been recently applied in the treatment of the intractable epilepsy. Preliminary results showed a reduction in the number or severity of seizures. We treated two epileptic patients with such method, and observed in both patients a reduction in the frequency and severity of seizures. These data emphasize the need of further studies.
