Abstract
[Machine translation] The argument I propose is that the legal-aesthetic reading of, Kelsen’s basic norm and the reference to Kantorowicz’s man centered, kingship can represent an aesthetic-legal key to reading, Dante’s legal thought, as a means to clarify its anthropological significance., Without pretending to provide general statements on, the link between Dante’s poetic and political-legal works, I intend,, moving from the point of observation of the philosopher of law:, – to analyze the relevance of the concept of figure from an aesthetic-, legal point of view and its connection with Dante’s work;, – to take up some recent comments on Kelsen’s text on Dante,, starting from the perspective of an aesthetic-legal reading;, – to show how Kantorowicz’s notion of man-centered kingship, constitutes a reading of topical interest for De Monarchia, carried, out from the perspective of legal aesthetics.
