Abstract

[Machine translation] The study of the way in which we conceptualize old age - and to an even greater extent the study of the possible cognitive distortions present in this conceptualization - is relevant both from a philosophical point of view and from a practical point of view. A good conceptualization of, old age can contribute to the correct setting of health policies, effective social communication and better planning, technological aids that should help to cope with the increasing pace of the aging of the population.
